I have the sweetest, and most thoughtful boyfriend.  For Valentines Day he totally surprised me with tickets to go see th 76ers vrs. the chicago bulls.  I think i had mentioned it to him that I like the 76ers, but that was about it.  A total surprise.  He also got me a rose, and some chocolate covered strawberries. Then he  took me out to eat at this really nice place by Mt. Vernon.  It has tons of historical  background to it.  There were many couples there, but most were over the age of 40.  We were the youngest ones there.  I did not mind, but he seemed a little troubled with it.  So they had music playing at this  place, and nobody was dancing. After dessert he got up because he wanted to dance to some 70's music.  I did not want to go, everyone would be looking.  But in the end I could not let him get up and go to the dance floor alone.  We start dancing and everyone was looking at us.  Mike got all nervous and was like, "lets go back and sit down, everyone is looking!"  I did not want to go back and sit down the music was fine, and well he dragged me up there to dance we were going to dance. Ha ha. Ha.  After he turned all shades of reds, i was like we can go and sit down.  The people were clapping for us, apperently we were a big hit with them, and we knew how to dance.  This was a really good valentines day!  I had so much fun, and we laughed the night away.  He made me feel really special.

What did I get him for Valentines, nothing as cool as him.  I had no clue what to get him, we have only been together for weeks.  I bought him a book about Africa.  I know lame, right.  But in my defense he loves africa, he works for the National Department of Defense, Africa center for Strategic Studies.  He is going to africa for work in a couple of weeks.  He loves anything to do about africa, anything!   I also got him a couple of shirts.  I just feel like he out did me in the gift giving.  I hate when that happens.    He said he really liked what i got him. 

So what has been going on!  I finally went snowboarding, so much fun.  I feel tons of times, but all in all it is something that i think i will like doing more often.  Mike and I are together now.  So yesh, I have a boyfriend.  Things are fun, we have a crap load of fun, and we are always laughing.  We have good times together.  He has met my friends, and they get along, which is a plus.  Will it last who knows, Mike and I always joke around about that, we always say we cant make plans because who know if we will be together by the end of the week.  He bought me flowers and I actually liked them.  I was impressed, not that I am hard to impress, but they were really pretty.    The Steelers won the superbowl, I was so excited!!!!!  Jace and I bet against Mike and Jace's girlfriend that the steelers would win, so we have dinner and 1hr massage, thanks to the Steelers Victory!  My friend Yvette got engaged and is to marry in April!  Everyone is either married or about to be, yet it does not bug me.  Work is so much fun right now.
